When it works, it's great. There are a number of people online (myself included), however, who've reported issues with the Behringer UMC1820 just not actually outputting anything. It'll look like it is from the software on the iPad (Loopy Pro, AUM, Cubasis, etc.), but it just won't actually send audio out the output jacks.
I've had output just stop on me mid-recording, so it's not (necessarily) cables, power supplies, USB hubs, or anything like that.
YMMV but this interface is too unreliable with an iPad. Unless it's the only interface you have access to, I wouldn't recommend it.
