Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre USB-C
Great AD converter with ADAT or Toslink input (configurable in the desktop software only (Focusrite Control iOS version needs a USB connection with your desktop computer and therefor not very useful). This also applies for the mixer settings: just set and forget… After that it can be used as a stand-alone unit. Also has MIDI in and out.

It will run from the USB-C power from your iPad (bus power) but only if you use the analog inputs/outputs. If you use the ADAT or Toslink input, it’s needs power from it’s external adapter (included). It will run from the USB-C from a iPad but without a hub with PD charging, it will drain your iPad FAST (btdt). I recommend the older Satechi USB-A HDMI SD Headphone hub version with the short USB-C extension cord. Only problem is you always need to power off (switch) the Clarett first, connect your hub and open LP on your iPad, and then power on the Clarett, otherwise LP it wil not recognize the damn thing. Took me hours to find out.
