It's probably not the best in any of its categories, but I know of know other device that does this all: just plug it into your iPad (it works on bus power if you want it to) and you get 8 MIDI footswitches and an audio interface with a variety of connections (two 1/4 jacks in and out, XLR and MIDI in and out, slots for two expression pedals). As for MIDI configuration, it does CC and PC and you can edit it somewhat, but for me the most stable option is just to use the control profile "B" with all PCs: you don't get momentary or double clicks, but you do get 8 actions already that you can MIDI Learn in Loopy Pro and then create various control profiles in there. (For microphone users the footswitches are not exactly quiet though.)
